  • Performs overall engineering design and engineering tasks, within a discipline, having a high degree of complexity independently and with little oversight from Senior Engineers.
  • Participate in performing calculations to determine blast loading inputs.
  • Perform nonlinear, dynamic analysis of building structures using single degree of freedom, multi degree of freedom, and finite element analysis methodologies for dynamic blast loadings.
  • Perform nonlinear, dynamic analyses of building structures using Abacus and other commercially available software.
  • Develop in-structure-shock-response-spectrums (ISSRS) for design of MEP shock isolation systems.
  • Participate in developing test requirements for verifying and validating design.
  • Read and interpret design drawings and REVIT models.
  • Aid in the transfer of design information from calculations to structural design drawings.
  • Participate in developing reports and memorandums to communicate technical design information.
