Instructor Public Relations Strategic Communication Requisition Number FP Communication Job Description The Department of Communication at Weber State University in Ogden Utah invites applications for an Instructor of Public Relations Strategic Communication who will begin in Fall Semester.
We seek a strong teacher with a theoretical and applied approach to public relations and strategic communication.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred public relations strategic communication and quantitative research methods.
The successful candidate should expect to teach courses at all levels of the undergraduate and masters curricula such as communication theory public relations writing media writing research methods strategic communication visual communication public speaking small group and interpersonal communication and mass media and society.
The ability to teach in various delivery formats such as online and hybrid is preferred.
Required Qualifications Candidates must have a Masters degree in Communication or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications ABD or Ph.
D.
in Communication or a related field is preferred.
