We are hiring for an experienced Senior Accountant to assist with administrative, accounting & bookkeeping tasks. Ideal Candidate is organized, self-motivated, resourceful and requires excellent communication skills. Our work environment is fun and fast paced.
Job Description
This position is responsible for various accounting functions and clerical assistance where needed. Duties such as bank account reconciliations, credit card/debit card transaction entry, card/debit card and cash account reconciliations and preparation of daily deposits. Position will also be responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management, working closely with the VP Finance.
Responsibilities
Review and Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Accounts receivables
Accounts payables
Invoicing
Prepare payroll data for outside payroll company
General office duties
Assist in other projects, as needed
Prepare various correspondence including letters, faxes, memos and emails
Qualifications
An ability to process a large amount of transactions efficiently without errors is essential.
Advanced knowledge in Quick Books, Word, Excel.
Work experience in the accounting field, basic knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
Diploma or Associate s degree in Accounting
3-5 years of accounting experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
