Job Description
Wasatch Fab and Machine is seeking qualified welding lead experienced in layout, fitting, and welding of a variety ferrous and non-ferrous products. We are looking for highly motivated individual who excels in their trade and can perform the following functions;
Responsibilities
-Read and understand fabrication drawings -Layout materials dimensionally, assemble the parts and prep for welding - Perform welding to the highest standards of AWS and customer requirements - Finish the assembly to required. Candidates must have all the required tools, clothing, and aptitude to assure a quality product for our customers. This includes knowledge of proper weld techniques and symbols, weld machine settings, torch and plasma cutting, grinding, and other skills as necessary.
Qualifications
Applicants must have 3 years' experience in the fabrication industry and successfully complete the following; - Be able to pass a variety of weld tests - A written shop drawing comprehension test - Verification of a high school diploma and GED - Verification of employment within the last 3 years with job references - Pass a pre-employment drug screen.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
