Loan Officer / Business Development Officer

Job Description
Utah Certified Development Company (Utah CDC) is seeking a Loan Officer/Business Development Officer to market and originate commercial real estate loans throughout Utah. Our production office is located in Ogden.
Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Making sales calls and developing relationships with Commercial Lenders throughout Utah
Meeting with lenders and business owners to structure commercial real estate loans under the SBA 504 loan program
Analyzing personal and business financial statements to determine credit worthiness and assess risk
Becoming an expert in SBA 504 lending procedures, rules and regulations
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following
Qualifications:
Must have the equivalent of a college degree and a minimum of 3 years commercial credit and lending experience
Experience analyzing business financial statements, tax returns and assessing risk
Experience marketing and building relationships
Excellent computer skills in general and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate information between multiple parties in order to keep loans progressing in a timely manner
SBA lending experience is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
