Receptionist

Job Description
The Receptionist will receive callers and visitors at the establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers and visitors to correct destination. Provides administrative and clerical support.
Wage:
Hourly, based on experience

Responsibilities
Responsible for answering and placing telephone calls, operating company phones and notifying appropriate parties of arriving calls, customers or visitors
Create paper and electronic files for new orders in company
Provides administrative support including but not limited to typing, filing, copying and coordinating calendars
Greets customers, vendors, job applicants and other visitors in a courteous, friendly and timely manner
Sorts and routes mail, correspondence, packages, and messages for timely delivery to appropriate party
Directs issues or problems to appropriate party for resolutions
Coordinates meetings and organizes catering
Maintains reception area, copy area and conference room(s) tidy and stocked
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Full-time position, Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm. Do not apply if you cannot accommodate schedule.
Attention to detail
Ability to read, write and perform simple math
Entry level, no experience required
Well founded computer skills necessary to complete tasks
Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette
Ability to follow written and verbal directives and work with people of all levels
Good communication skills
Responsible with good initiative
Education, Licensure, and
Experience:
Completion of a High School diploma
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in clerical administration which includes experience in phone/professional etiquette.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
