macknenzie EXHIBIT is a complete trade show service management company with capabilities in the USA, Canada and Europe. We provide complete trade show services including affordable display storage, print work, refurbishing, shipping, installation, dismantle and on-site supervision.
We are seeking a talented designer who is adept at developing creative up-front design concepts as well as having technical working knowledge in preparing final documentation and proofing artwork for print work and or digital applications. Responsibilities
Required Skills
Working knowledge of motion graphics software, digital video editing tools or other skills related to designing for and creating dynamic content
Working knowledge of print and fabrication/construction production and vendor management
Proficiency in proofing and verifying print work files while minimizing errors
A passion for photography and editing
Keen sense of materials and fabrication/construction within a built environment
Qualifications
Required Experience
Bachelors or higher degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Visual Communication or similar
Ideally a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience
Experience with print design, digital design and/or environmental graphic design
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to internal teams and clients
Passion for photography work optional but highly beneficial
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Word and Excel
After Effects, Premiere skills are a big advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, articulate and well-spoken, and the ability to work well with a wide range of projects in a short time frame
Interest in expanding skillset across design platforms such as the built environment, experiential design, and 3D/digital media
A personal/digital portfolio that contains a strong and varied design approach, as well as specific examples of fully realized and produced graphic projects; process sketch books are highly appreciated
Ability to interpret and apply a client s brand and design aesthetic across multiple mediums
Plugged into emerging technologies/industry/design trends and willing to share internallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
