Fire Protection Service Corporation is hiring for a Licensing Specialist in our Ogden branch of Link Interactive.
Position
Summary: Researches, maintains records, compiles information, and submits the necessary forms for branch permits and licensing. Manages and process customer specific permits and renewals. Works cooperatively with corporate licensing.
We are looking for a hard working, outgoing individual to join our licensing team. Experience working directly in licensing is not required, as training will be provided. The indivdual hired should possess the qualifications needed to succeed in the position, including excellent attention to detail, excellent skills in online and over the phone research into what licenses are needed and being customer service driven. Responsibilities
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Process all customer permits as needed. Permits will be processed through customers local counties, cities and states.
Process all permit and license renewals.
Works directly with customers, operations, sales, corporate licensing, and central station to obtain permits, licenses, and other branch specific requirements.
Researches permit and licensing requirements for both customer permits and company licenses.
Submits all company license paperwork to corporate licensing for completion.
Professionally communicates with customers, counties, cities and states via email and phone regarding permits, licenses, and other branch specific licenses, research and processing.
Professionally communicates with customer(s) regarding initial and renewal permit processing.
Proactively screens incoming orders to determine licensing and permit requirements.
Works directly with accounting to ensure billing for customer permits occurs as needed.
Timely follow-up throughout all stages of permitting and licensing.
Communicates any permitting issues interfering with activation of accounts directly to operations.
Utilizes DocuSign to electronically collect signatures for internal and external purposes.
Utilizes a variety of industry specific software.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong research skills and excellent attention to detail.
Must read and speak English.
Punctual.
Must be customer service driven.
Able to multi-task.
Must be able to type proficiently and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Competent in the ability to originate and correspond by email.
Professional appearance, business casual.
Ability to self-supervise.
Complies with all applicable safety, environment, health and waste management polices and procedures.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required.
