Job Description
Position is responsible for all student career counseling and employment in the Goddard School of Business & Economics, i.e. Career Development Class, individual career counseling, Co-op Ed/Internship, Practicum & Career Employment. Responsibilities will include employer/job/internship development and relations, teaching pre-employment seminars and Career Development Class, surveying students, employers and faculty.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field.
Five years minimum experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Career Services, or similar area.
A Graduate degree is preferred.

-Collaboration and Teamwork- ability to resolve conflict, support collaborative working relationships, make team-based decisions, maintain a professional work environment.
-Decision making and problem solving.
-Organizing, planning, and prioritizing.
-Innovation and bench-marking- willingness to adopt best practices but lead innovation where appropriate.
-Systems evaluation- Ability to identify metrics or indicators of success and determine what is needed to improve or correct performance relative to mission and goals.
-Project Management- Oversee all phases of project development.
-Social media and e-recruiting- capacity to integrate social media, job boards, LinkedIn, and online recruiting into career services model.
-Computer and technology proficiency- in the use of standard office computer software and tools (g-mail, campus database management software, Microsoft Office, etc.).
-Must also be willing to stay current in the field and maintain expertise on related technological innovations, and occupational, education and economic trends related to student career and placement opportunities. Maintain and guard confidentiality of student records as required by laws and regulations. Occasionally work outside of normal business hours.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
