Ogden Preparatory Academy seeks a qualified Spanish Language Teacher in Ogden, Utah. Duties: (1) teach Spanish language courses, including Heritage Language Learners classes, to middle school students; (2) use computers and other technology in student instruction; (3) maintain classroom organization and discipline; (4) evaluate student academic and personal progress and generate progress reports; (5) hold parent teacher conferences, develop Student Education Plans, and interpret school programs; (6) serve on academic or administrative committees; (7) participate in campus and community events; and (8) such other related duties as assigned. Requirements: (1) Bachelors degree in Education, English, or related field; (2) hold a valid Utah State Teaching License (Level II or higher), or possess all qualifications to obtain such license; (3) demonstrable fluency in Spanish language at native-speaker level; (4) demonstrable knowledge and understanding of: (a) cultural nuance in the various Spanish-speaking countries, (b) different traditions within the varying Spanish-speaking cultures, and (c) the State Core Curriculum and Board of Education adopted guidelines for teaching Spanish; and (5) demonstrable ability in: (a) choosing appropriate Spanish materials for classes, and (b) classroom management skills. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
