BASIC FUNCTION :
Effectively manages people and has the ability to organize individuals and manage activities in order to get the job done. Fills in and works on the line as needed to help maintain production numbers. Responsible for the enforcement of company safety, health, and environmental policies and require employees to follow rules as a condition of their employment so that all employees understand management's commitment to safety, health, and the environment.
Required Skills
Responsibilities and Duties :
1. Trains and develops production teams.
2. Coordinates equipment downtime due to maintenance issues.
3. Works on the line and fills in positions as needed or required.
4. Supervises new hire training and orientation.
5. Prepare production forms.
6. Using e-Time, tracks hourly time on a daily basis and generates Time and Labor report.
7. Participates and manages safety teams
8. Participates in equipment change-overs
9. Manage production lines to meet daily goals
10. Enforce plant policies and general rules
11. Support and participate in Lean activities
12. Complete required Production reports
13. Additional activities as assigned
Required Experience
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate or equivalent

years in manufacturing
SPECIAL QUALITY/APTITUDE:
Good people skills
Organization
Accuracy
Attendance
Communication Skills
Spanish speaking a plus (not required)
