Kier Construction, a Utah based General Contractor, has an immediate opening for a jobsite Project Engineer in the Salt Lake Valley. This full-time position will be working hands-on in the field assisting Kier's site team. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate and timely submittals and submittal logs, change order logs, tracking completion milestones, conducting walk-throughs and developing punch lists, scheduling construction meetings, maintaining project schedules, documenting job site activity, assisting with the management of subcontractors, distributing contract documents, completion of project close-out documents, and participating in safety procedures. The qualified candidate must have a degree in Construction Management and preferably 3 to 5 years of construction management experience, demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication skills, good organizational and planning skills and the ability to work within a team atmosphere. Experience with Timberline Construction software, SureTrak/Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat a plus. Enterprise Green Communities and/or LEED Certification preferred. EOE/M/F/H/V.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
