Warehouse Helper

Local beverage company is looking for a warehouse helper. The purpose of the job is to perform warehouse tasks of picking product, preparing product for shipment, loading trucks with product, putting product away and general housekeeping of warehouse. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspects, fills and stages orders in accurate, thorough and efficient manner in accordance with established Company standards and procedures
Handles stock in a careful and safe manner; conscious of quality and eliminating damage.
Operates assigned warehouse equipment in performing the functions of the job
Keep warehouse, including inventory, neat and orderly
Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience
Must be over 21 years of age
Forklift experience desired
One to two years previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred
Proficient math skills in unit of measurement and multiplication, division, addition, subtraction
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient at reading and writing in English
Attentive to detail; accurate and thorough
Ability to work safely, independently, fast, and efficiently
Team worker willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, twist and carry up to 35 pounds and manipulate (pushing, pulling) up to 160 pounds of product. Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: bending, carrying, climbing, crouching, feeling, finger movement, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rapid work speed, speaking, reaching, repetitive motions, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, twisting, walking, and walking on irregular surfaces.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
