Wayfair.com, the largest online-only retailer of home furnishings and house wares in the United States, is looking for self-motivated Email Sales and Service consultants to work from home. The right candidate will have excellent comprehension, writing and keyboarding skills. He/she will have critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to assess and meet needs, build relationships and have a great attitude.

A work at home candidate must have a dedicated, separate, quiet and distraction free-work space. You must be able to hard-wire your computer into your internet router. Your internet speed must be 5 Mbps or greater. Working from home is not to be viewed as a substitute for dependent care. Wayfair will provide you with all necessary equipment to work at home, which is to be used for work purposes only.

$11/hour plus monthly bonus potential
Shifts: Weekdays 10am-7pm, Weekends 7am-4pm- somewhat flexible
Benefits begin on the first day of employment

Key Job Duties:

Use consultative sales approach to help customers in an inbound sales and service center explore product offerings, make purchase decisions, and resolve issues.
Meet key performance metrics.
Project a professional company image through phone and email interactions.
Recognize, document and alert supervisors of trends in correspondence.
Uphold high customer service standards.


Able to independently manage and drive personal workload.
Strong written communication skills.
Able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
Passion for helping customers, desire to make Customer Service a career.
Strong desire to be part of a team achieving personal and company financial goals.
Able to solve problems by thinking analytically and creatively.
Familiar with the latest e-commerce trends.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Must pass a background check and a drug screen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
