On-Call Weekend Nurse Supervisor

The candidate will receive a daily on-call stipend while also receiving an hourly wage if work is required at home or in the facility.
This position is an every other weekend on-call position.
Education/
Experience:
Current Utah RN or LPN License.
RN preferred, LPN accepted One year of experience in a skilled nursing setting or acute care setting CPR Certification Experience with admissions Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) Skills Clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility Excellent communication skills Sound decision making skills Ability to effectively work without close supervision Attention to detail Great Customer Service Skills Be able to work in a team environment Leadership and management abilities Responsibilities On-call starting at 5 PM on Friday until 5 AM on Monday Available to return phone calls within 30 minutes Reading referrals sent from referral sources and coordinating with the weekend admissions coordinator on accepting patients and bringing them into the facility Reading clinical documentation from referral sources to determine if the the facility is a proper facility for the potential patient Admits during designated working hours Finding coverage on the floor if a nurse calls off and/or possibly working on the floor as a nurse if coverage is unable to be obtained Supervises, directs, and works with floor staff, nursing supervisors, and other ancillary staff.
