Receptionist (Front desk Position)

We are seeking a receptionist for our clinic.
Strong candidates will have experience working in a front office within the healthcare industry.
We are looking for someone who can interact well with both patients and office staff.
The position involves managing client needs scheduling communication and also verifying insurance coverage processing payments reporting and collaboration with the staff.
Greet and receive patients and visitors.
Coordinate patient activity in reception area report problems or irregularities and communicate delays to patients.
Communicate professionally with the physicians patients and others both in person and through phone email website submissions or social media.
Effectively communicate physicians specialties.
Register new patients on computerbased system in person and on the phone.
Schedule appointments Updateverify patient demographics at each visit.
Inform patients of the payment requirements for their visit and collect and process detailed patient payment and insurance information.
Oversee office maintenance order supplies as needed.
Personality and Work Traits Position requires an individual with an enthusiastic and congenial personality that is eager to please.
Interpersonal skills are essential.
Superior communication skills are necessaryboth verbal and nonverbal.
Organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks throughout the workday are required.
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Able to read understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Must comply with HIPAA regulations for security and confidentiality of all protected health information.
High school graduate or GED Keyboard proficiency at wpm One year customer service reception experience Two years healthcare office experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
