Summary:
The Training Manager will identify and monitor training needs for all aspects of project management including estimating, manufacturing/quality planning, engineering/design, and technical support/problem-solving.
Design, Plan, and Implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.
Essential Functions:
Searching for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety among staff Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance a firm's training procedures while providing value to employees Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training Leading programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions, and mergers Communicating with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are met Setting up executive or leadership development programs for lower-level employees Create a training matrix to ensure a comprehensive training program.
Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary.
Essential Mental Functions:
Must be able to motivate and train under stressful situations.
Essential Physical Functions:
Requires prolonged sitting and standing, occasional walking, bending, and stooping.
Requires hearing and vision correctable to within normal range for communication with team members and company needs.
May require odd hours, odd shifts, and overtime.
Safety Requirements:
Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and Petersen safety policies and rules.
Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
Equipment Used (but not limited to):
Computer, smartphone, and other office equipment.
Availability:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.
Must be available and willing to work overtime as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
Travel:
Travel as needed to support program/s.

Normally works in an office environment and may occasionally be subject to:
Shop floor environment High noise levels from operating machines Physical hazards from moving equipment and production components Breathing fumes, dust, and mist Skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids Welding flash Additional Comments:
The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
Attendance is an essential job function.
Employees will operate in compliance with all recognized standards that Petersen adheres to (such as AS9100, ISO 9000), including all supporting policies and procedures.

Educational Experience - Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Master's Degree in Organizational Development or Training and Development preferred.
Experience - Track record of designing and executing successful training programs.
Experience in manufacturing/fabrication/engineering fields is a plus.
Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation.
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
