The Energy HVAC Technician upgrades existing campus HVAC systems to more efficient modern systems in order to help Weber State achieve its goal of carbon neutrality.
Will primarily install Mitsubishi VRF systems.
Reports to the energy manager but will work frequently with other groups and take direction from HVAC lead and Mechanical Superintendent.
Required Qualifications year of HVAC experience.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of installation operations and maintenance of heat pump systems Strong verbal interpersonal and written communication skills NATE Certification EPA CertificationExperience installing Mitsubishi VRF SystemsCompletion of Mitsubishi VRF Training installation m.
