Coordinator Scheduling Summer Conference Requisition Number SP Position Category Staff Campus Location Weber State University Ogden UT Hours Per Week Months Per Year Alternate Work Schedule Weekend and Evening work during the summer months Pay Grade E Salary Hourly Pay Rate FLSA Exempt Job SummaryBasic Function Manage the scheduling for multiday conferences and NonWeber State Student Interns during the summer months of May through August in WSU housing.
This includes coordination of meeting rooms housing assignmentsbed spaces keys damages door securityaccess food other rooms and outside areas etc.
Oversee day to day operations of Conferences as well as crisis management and resolution.
Work with multiple departments on campus i.
e.
University Dining University Police FM etc.
Maintain SEC and Conference budgets of to general office finances and all office bookkeeping.
Create funds transfer invoices internaldepartmental billings from prepared invoice spreadsheets and other departmental forms.
Work in BannerLynx system to pull reports and collect payments.
Assist in scheduling services of the Union and outside areas for events related services including coordination of meeting rooms audiovisual technical room setups food service and other requested items.
Work with designated customers for the delivery of efficient and quality meeting event and conference services taking place in the Union or elsewhere on campus.
Utilize and practice Shepherd Union and University policies and procedures with practices that promote safety and decrease liability concerns.
Represent the SEC office on various committees across campus Required Qualifications BABS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience related to event coordination or hospitality management.
Oneyear computer experience and knowledge of software systems.
