Maintenance Technician
Adecco is hiring immediately for Maintenance Technicians at our client site in Ogden, UT. Maintenance Technicians handle essential tasks with one of our premier clients. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be inspecting, observing, and examining mechanical devices while they are in operation to identify the underlying cause of any issues. If necessary, the individual will dismantle or adjust the devices to repair them according to specified requirements. Additionally, the person will offer recommendations or suggest modifications to enhance processes and procedures, collaborating with other maintenance mechanics to improve machine efficiency and uptime. Regular preventive maintenance on the facility and equipment will also be performed. The individual must be willing to work extra hours when needed to complete repairs and return the equipment to service promptly.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50lbs.
- Participation in an on-call rotation with other maintenance mechanics is expected.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a particular emphasis on Aerospace experience.
- Prior maintenance experience in industrial production systems, plumbing, control systems, welding, fabrication, and hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in electrical skills.
- Strong ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints related to electrical, machining, hydraulics, and building maintenance schematics.
- Competence in operating various equipment, such as a Drill Press, Power/Hand Tools,
- Measuring Equipment, and Test Equipment like a voltmeter.
