Technical Director, on-site in Ogden Utah Responsibilities Execute Preventive and corrective maintenance.
Identify and report potential issues to leader and collaborate on relevant solutions.
Install, startup and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment Carry out necessary logistics work, including receive of goods, preparation of goods for upcoming production orders and loading of bulk product for shipment.
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
Other duties as assigned.
Profile High school, GED, or equivalent education.
Trade or vocational school education is preferred 2 years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments is required.
Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks Demonstrated knowledge of electrical components such as (but not limited to) VFD's motor starters, temperature sensors, etc Industrial electrical up to 480 VAC Controls & instrumentations PLC/software &hardware experience Pneumatics & Hydraulic experience BRC/HACCP, Environment, Sustainability Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Able to communicate effectively with anyone that they may encounter on the job Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment with team members and strict GMP practices Must be able and willing to participate in on-call rotation that may include weekends, overtime, and holidays Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees) Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours) Ability to maintain punctuality and regular attendance Why Join Us We believe that the key to creating and growing a successful business is by investing in our people--some of whom have been a part of our team for over 30 years.
