Instructor of Quantitative Methods Requisition Number FP Job Description The Department of Economics at Weber State University is accepting applications for an Instructor of Quantitative Methods to begin July classes begin August Job Duties The instructor will teach Business Statistics I QUAN Business Statistics II QUAN andor Business Calculus QUAN courses in the Goddard School of Business and Economics with no more than two course preparations per semester.
The instructor will be responsible for teaching credit hours with a combination of online and facetoface courses and assessing student learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will participate in professional or scholarly activities outside the classroom.
Required Qualifications At least a Masters Degree in a relevant quantitative field related to business economics or mathematics.
Evidence of participation in professional or scholarly activities outside the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching quantitativemethods related courses.
Evidence of highquality and engaged teaching.
Willingness to contribute in meaningful ways to the universitys commitment to equity diversity and inclusion and integrate inclusive pedagogical practices in the classroom and in course contentdesign.
