Art Teacher
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instructs pupils in art i.e.:
painting, sketching, designing, sculpturing
Prepares lesson plans and establishes course goals
Demonstrates method procedure to pupils
Evaluates pupils work to define student progress
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
Evaluate and grade students' class work, and assignments
Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction
Understand and be capable of working with students with disabilities
Must be a certified teacher and possess an Art endorsement or currently enrolled in a program
