The ICBM System Program Office must prepare a sustainment and acquisition concept to ensure a safe, secure, and reliable MM III weapon system as required by the war fighter (Air Force Global Strike Command) through 2030. This acquisition replaces the current ICBM Prime Integration Contract (IPIC) and is identified as the Future ICBM Sustainment and Acquisition Construct (FISAC). The Integration Support Contract (ISC) will not only assist in acquisition and technical sustainment engineering, but also help train and develop this capability in the government. This contract will augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategic development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, and mission effectiveness in support Launch Support System (LSS) and Flight Destruct System (FDS) Programs.
Position will be located at or near Hill AFB, Utah.
This individual shall support Government acquisition efforts through their ability to evaluate, validate and verify information and/or recommendations provided by the Ground Systems/Flight Systems hardware and sub-system contractors.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree
Preferred Skills and Education
Seven (7) years ICBM experience, preferred nuclear weapon systems e.g. FDS, Launch Environment Protective System (LEPS), LSS Instrumentation, Ordnance and Related equipment, LSS Communications, LSS Facilities, Ground Systems, Guidance, RS-RV providing technical engineering/engineering leadership with a working knowledge of nuclear missile standards.
